Caught In The Crowd - Chapter 15: Flying News.

"I told you to pretend I didn't exsist. It never happened." I sighed.

"What never happened?" (YBFN) asked, raising her eyebrows.

"Nothing." I muttered, shooting her an 'I'll tell you later' sort of look.

"I tried. I tried really hard, I promise, but it did happen. I can't forget that." He whined.

"You have to." I groaned, covering my eyes with one hand.

"I can't." He micked me. "You haven't forgotten. Admit it."

"I'm willing to let it go, unlike other people who have insistent determination." I sighed.

"Most people say that determination is a good thing." He replied smartly.

"If you're determined about the right thing!" I exclaimed.

"Okay, calm down." He chuckled. Oh, how I loved that sound.

"Where's Selena, Justin? How does she feel about all this? Does she know you waste your phone credit on attempting to talk to me?" I demanded. He had to see sense.

"You make me sound like such a stalker." He sighed, amusedly as the bell rang.

"Look, I have to go back to class. I'll talk to you later, okay." I said.

"Promise?" He asked.

"Yeah, promise. Whatever, gotta go. Bye." I said quickly and hung up, running with (YBFN) to get to class on time.

I sat down at my desk in the middle of the night. Unable to sleep. So I called Justin, like I had promised.

"Mmm, hello?" He mumbled sleepily.

"Sorry, I'll call later." I said softly.

"No, I can talk." He mumbled.

"Justin, you sound drunk. Go to sleep." I said, laughing softly.

"No, I'm awake now. Drank some red bull." He informed me.

"That's so bad for you." I laughed.

He chuckled softly. "You're worth it."

Ugh, why did he have to be so charming? Why couldn't he just not be flirty and be easy to say no to?

"You know before when you asked me about Selena?" He asked slowly.

"Yeah…" I trailed off.

"She doesn't have an opinion on this, because she's refusing to talk to me." He finished.

"Why?" I asked suspiciously, turning on my computer.

"Because she found out." He said sheepishly.

"How did she find out?" I said, talking louder than I intended to.

"I told Ryan and he accidentally let it slip." He explained softly.

"Oh." I replied. What else could I possibly say? Exactly, there wasn't anything else I could possibly say.

There was a small silence as I logged into Twitter. My wall was flooded with messages. Most of them saying 'you kissed Justin Bieber? You b*tch!'

I gaped at them and went straight to Google. I quickly typed in Justin's name and the most recent news about him popped up. Sure enough, it said: Has Justin Bieber been cheating on Selena Gomez?

I clicked on the link. Selena had said in an interview on TV that Justin was cheating on her with me. It had only been online for a couple of hours. I wanted the ground to swallow me.

"Justin?" I choked out.

"What's wrong?" He asked, sounding concerned.

"You know how you said that Selena knows?" I breathed.

"Yeah?"

"She's not the only one." I whispered.

"What?" He exclaimed and I heard rustling on the other end of the line. Suddenly, he cursed under his breath in hardly more than a whisper.

"I can't believe you two kissed! Since when were you ever that rebel?" (YBFN) asked, laying on my bed.

I pushed my desk chair out into the middle of my room and spun around, looking up at the roof to make myself dizzy. "I dunno. He did it, not me." I shrugged.

She wolf whistled and then laughed. "He likes you." She sung, clapping her hands together in delight.

"I don't care. The whole freaking world knows and we have to go to school in half an hour." I groaned unhappily, throwing my phone across the room when it rang.

"That's probably him, you know." (YBFN) said, pointing at my phone.

"He can wait, he's not the most important thing at the moment." I rolled my eyes.

"What is the most important thing?" She asked, raising an eyebrow and pulling a serious face like she was a counsellor.

I laughed a her expression. "The most important thing is that we're about to go to school."

"What's so important about school, Miss (YN)?" She asked seriously, trying not to laugh.

I bit my lip, also supressing a laugh. "Weren't you listening before? The whole world knows that I kissed Justin Bieber and we have to go to school with a bunch of teenage girls who are in love with him and literally want to marry him. Are you seeing the hazard signs?"

She giggled. "Funny how your life is at risk, isn't it?"

I smiled, but rolled my eyes. "I'm that funny."

"Come on, you promised to help me with the homework so it's done before we get there. I won't get in trouble that way." She giggled.

"Alright." I sighed as we spread out on the floor with our school books.

"Ready to face the music?" (YBFN) grinned as we ran down the stairs.

"Last time I checked, screaming girls wasn't music." I sighed.

"You are about to enter the world of celebrities." She said with a smirk.

"Got any tips for me?" I asked, pulling an unhappy face.

"Umm…" She trailed off thoughtfully. "Don't talk to strangers?" She suggested.

I laughed. "Come on, we gotta go."

We pushed open the door and there was silence. So much silence that it was scary. The whole first five minutes was this way. (YBFN) looked worried but shrugged.

"Maybe no one from around here saw the interview with Selena?" She said slowly.

But as soon as she said that, there was a flash. Then another, then shouting and about two seconds later me and (YBFN) were surrounded by a sea of people.
