Caught In The Crowd - Chapter 11: Mision Number Two.

"Hello?" I asked into the speaker of my iphone as I stepped out of the front door.

"Hi sweetheart." Pattie's voice echoed through the phone. "I wouldn't ask unless it was an emergency, but have you seen Jazmyn or Justin anywhere today?" 

I frowned. "No, I haven't. Why?"

She sighed worriedly. "It's just that they've been gone for ages and I've tried calling Justin but his phone's turned off for some ridiculous reason and no one has seen them."

"I can go look for a bit if you want." I said, looking around.

"Really?"

"It's no trouble." I replied. I was meant to be getting to school, but I like Jazmyn and Justin more than school anyway.

"That would be amazing, (YN). Thank you so much." She thanked me over and over.

"It's really not a problem. I'll call you if I can't find them." I said.

She sighed in slight relief. "Thank you so much, honey."

I got off the phone and took the nessicary five step walk back to my front door and threw my school bag inside the house. I then, re-locked the door and began looking for Jazmyn.

I held out my hand, letting tiny drops of rain fall into my palm. The rain never got any heavier than a couple of drops, which was fortunate. I scanned the area for Justin. No sign of him. I sighed and pulled out my phone, flicking through the phonebook. I know Pattie said that his phone was turned off, but it was worth a try.

"Hello?" He answered in a bored tone.

"Nice to talk to you too." I replied sarcastically, breathing a sigh of relief that he actually answered. "Justin, do you know where your sister is?"

"Yeah." He said slowly.

I rose an eyebrow. "Where?"

"Why?" He asked suspiciously.

"Because you're mom just me called and said you weren't picking up your phone and she needs Jazmyn back."

"I don't… Umm…" He mumbled.

"You're with Selena?" I asked, running a hand through my hair.

"Yeah." He said softly, feeling guilty.

"You lost your own sister?" I demanded. "Again." I added.

"Uhh… I dunno." He mumbled.

"You're an idiot." I muttered and hung up, continuing my search.
