Hi ladies. I hope you like this story, because I sure do. For those of you who commented on the last one, I love you. For those who didn't but still listen and read, I love you too. Here's the next chapter!
*YOUR POV*
"Justin they didn't catch him." I said as I stared him directly in the eye.
It was getting late now, and I had come accustomed to having Justin caress me and comfort me.
"I know. But they will." he said, trying to make me feel better.
This was the first time we'd talked and had a full-ish conversation since he walked in the room.
"But what if they don't? What if he comes back for me?" I asked, taking in a gulp of air as I swallowed hard.
"Is that what happened last night?"
I nodded. He didn't take his eyes off of me like he usually would.
"I won't let him. I'll kill him before he touches you." he said.
I felt tears coming, but I quickly pushed them away. My only thoughts were that and... ...my mom. I was thinking about how I was going to half to go to a funeral in her honor. Face the casket as I stood in front of a crowd of people, all with there eyes on me.
"Let's watch TV." Justin suggested as he grabbed the remote and clicked the button.
The screen flashed on the TV that was built-in to the wall in front of me.
"Last night Justin Bieber and his girlfriend (YN) (YLN), were seen being taken out of an ambulance and into the emergency room. Nothing has been released about why they are there, but we will definitely get updated on that report soon. Sources have told us that shots were fired near the popstar, (YN)'s home, but nothing yet been confirmed." the reporter said on the news.
It wasn't even the celebrity news, it was the actually news.
"Okay, enough of that." Justin said as he turned the TV off and turned his attention back to me.
I stared into his deep brown eyes as he watched my every move.
"Thanks Justin. I literally could not have done this without you."
He didn't speak, but I could tell that he heard every word that exited my mouth.
"I didn't mean anything at the house when I shoved you off of me. I just-"
"Don't worry about it, it's perfectly fine. I understand. Well not really, but I do, ya know?" he said with a slight smile.
I couldn't help but smile at his clumsiness. It was the first time I had smiled since a few days ago.
"There's that adorable smile that I've missed." Justin said.
I blushed just before the door opened and the doctor walked in. This time it was my actual doctor, luckily.
"Your smiling!" he joked.
I let out a small giggle as he stood at the foot of my bed.
"Well I've got some good news, but some bad news. Your healing quickly, and everything looks fine. And you shouldn't bend your wrist while those cuts heal, and your feet... you won't be able to walk on them until they are fully healed. It will be at least a few days to recover from the glass puncturing the skin."
He explained everything clearly, and I was able to leave the hospital whenever I wanted. I decided on today and he said it was fine. Before getting out of bed, Justin held me back and stared at me.
"I just have one question. How are you handling this so well?" he said quietly.
"I- I don't know. I guess I'm just tough." I said as I looked away.
"Ready?" Justin said as he lifted me up and helped me put on my sweatpants.
I laughed as we struggled to get them over my butt, but we eventually got it. He lifted me again bridal style and set me in a wheelchair. In reality, I wasn't actually tough, I just didn't feel like any of this was real so I couldn't feel emotion.
We both wore sweats and tank tops as we headed downstairs. The doctor followed close behind, making sure we got out alright. I looked through the glass doors and took a deep breath.
"I want you two to be very careful while you exit the building. Paparazzi are crowding the doorway, making it hard to get out. Do you have guards?" the doctor asked.
"Yeah, they are just walking in." he said as we both saw a few familiar faces coming through the doors. Justin and I covered our faces as we pushed through the door.
"JUSTIN! (YN)! WHAT HAPPENED?" people yelled from everywhere.
I was hoisted up by Justin into the car and he stepped in after me. The bodyguards took care of my wheelchair, putting it in the trunk as we pulled off.
"I feel crippled." I said with a slight smile.
Justin put his arm around me and laughed along with Kenny and the others. I wasn't offended by it, but I wasn't up for laughing either. We arrived at Justin's house and I was put back into my wheelchair and we went inside. I was greeted by Pattie, Jeremy, Jaxon, and Jazmyn. I was surprised to see that they were all here. Justin must've called them last night and they came right away.
