The Second Time Around: 10: The End.

Hi guys! Sorry for not posting in awhile, but I'm very busy tomorrow and Sunday. Hopefully you don't mind!(:
Oh, and this is the last chapter for now...(;

Chapter 10:
May 15th, 2017
12:00pm

Six hours left. Only six hours until I had to leave my family. I guess that this was it, this was the end. I had wasted half the day sleeping, because last night I thought that it’d be a good idea to get drunk. Well it wasn’t, but it was worth it. Justin didn’t do the same, but he just got up with me and the twins too. I slowly paced the floors, wanting this day to just last forever, for the time to just stop.
“Justin, this is it.” I sobbed as I rubbed my temples.
He walked across the living room and put his arms around me. I couldn’t believe that this was actually happening, and it was all ending. It came so fast, like the twins birthday was yesterday. I wanted to go back, to go back to when times were happy.
I pushed myself away from Justin and stood alone for a minute. He stared at me like I was crazy, but I needed some time.
“I need to be alone for a little bit.” I said quietly.
Without another tear, I headed upstairs and shut our bedroom door behind me. I sat down next to our bed and leaned back on it with my knees pulled up to my chest. Using my shaky hands, I grabbed the picture frame from the bedside table. It was of me and Justin; one of the first pictures we took together. It was even before we were dating, before everything. We looked so happy, like we had the world in our hands. But now, the weight of the world was on our shoulders.
I buried my face in my hands and cried again. It was so hard, and even though I’ve said it a billion times, this is it.
“Mommy?” I heard the door creak open.
I looked up to see the twins peeking their heads in the door. I wiped away my tears quickly and let them come in. The held their hands behind their backs innocently like they were hiding something. It was cute, just everything about them was.
“Hi babies.” I said weakly.
“Here mommy.”
They both held out their hands and I looked to see what they had. They had bracelets, with their names on them. I smiled and another tear fell from my eye. I looked back up at them and hugged them both.
“Daddy helped.” Lyric said with a smile.
“Why are you crying?” Melody immediately followed.
“Because mommy’s sad, Mel.”
Justin walked in and saw us all sitting on the floor. He joined us and put his arm around me. I took in a deep breath of his familiar scent and smiled once more.
“Mommy has to go somewhere. She’s going on a beautiful vacation to paradise.” Justin reassured them both.
“Then why are you crying?” Lyric asked.
“I’m just so sad to leave all of you guys. I’ll miss you so so so much, that I have to cry!”
I weakly laughed and Justin cracked a small smile. We continued to talk to them for hours, answering most of their nonsense questions. They were pretty funny with their dumb questions. Eventually, the clock struck 5:30 and we all stood up. I put the bracelets around my left wrist and proudly wore them. We all headed downstairs and stood by the door. There was already a car here to pick me up, but I wasn’t ready to leave.
“Okay, Lyric, Mel, promise mommy that you’ll be good for Daddy?” I said as I knelt down.”
“Promise!” They both yelled.
“Okay, good. I love you guys so much.”
I hugged them both tight and they giggled and smiled as they hugged me back.
“We know mommy! We love you too!”
I stood up and looked at Justin. We both had tears in our eyes as I wrapped my arms around Justin’s neck and held him tight.
“Baby, please let me go instead.” He begged.
“Justin stop. I won’t let you do that…”
“But this is all my fault. You wouldn’t be doing this if it weren’t for me.”
“Just promise me that you’ll take care of them?” I changed the subject abruptly.
“I-I promise.”
I took a deep breath before pressing my lips against his. We still had that same spark from our very first kiss, it was amazing.
I let go of Justin and weakly turned around and headed outside. I didn’t turn around as I got in the car, I didn’t even look back when we drove off. It was too hard to deal with; I couldn’t let more memories flow back again.

(Justin’s POV)

“Why are you crying?” Mel asked as she pulled on my pants.
“Because I miss mommy already.”
I took the twins in the other room and set them down to play. I had to somehow cope with everything that was going down. She was gone… forever. How was I going to survive without her? I had no idea, but I had to do it for the twins. I couldn’t do anything stupid because it was only me left for them, little did they know that.
I heard the front door open and I jumped up quickly. Maybe they let (YN) go and she came back and could run into my arms. But I was wrong as I saw Twist walk into my living room. I sat back down disappointed and buried my face in my hands.
“Woah, what’s wrong? Is it (YN)?” he asked right away.
I looked up at him and he was standing just a few feet away from me. None of my friends had ever seen me cry, but I honestly didn’t care anymore. She was gone…
“They took her, she’s gone.” I said weakly.
“Where?”
I looked at him like he was crazy. Where? Where? I was sitting there in pain and he wanted to know where my fiancĂ©e was going to fucking die? I calmed myself down before answering; otherwise something would’ve come out of my mouth that I would’ve regretted.
“Over in his building, you know. They’re keeping her overnight before, well, you know what happens, tomorrow morning.”
“What?! Dude, you have to get her out of there!” he yelled.
“Trust me; if I could, don’t you think I’d be over there doing that?” I yelled back.
“No, Justin, that buildings getting blown up. I came over here to tell you that because I thought that this would be over if he was dead. There’s this other gang that’s getting revenge and-”
I stood up and looked at him like he was crazy. The building was getting blown up? That would mean (YN) would… I had to get her out of there before anything happened. But they had that building so secretly secured, it’d be technically impossible. Technically. That doesn’t mean that it is impossible for sure. It couldn’t hurt to try, but it could kill.
I ran outside and found our gardener. I didn’t want one in the first place, but right now I was grateful that he was here.
“Hey, can you do me a favor and watch the kids for a while? I’ll pay you extra.”
“Of course.” She said.
She was a sweet old lady and I loved having her around. She was like a second grandma to us. Anyways, she came inside and I ran back to Twist who was pacing the floors like I had been earlier. I grabbed him and shook him back to reality.
“Will you help me?” I asked him.
“Y-Yeah, lemme just call Za and tell him to meet us there.”
He quickly called Za before we headed to the building. We didn’t have a plan yet, but we sure would need to find out soon. I thought about it on the way there, and realized that Twist was a former member of this little gang. That’s why they showed up at my house 4 years ago and I got myself into this.
“Twist, aren’t you apart of this gang? Can’t you do something?” I begged.
“I can’t do anything man. I’m not aloud anywhere near where their keeping (YN). That’s on the top floor, and the only two things up there are the boss and the people who owe him.”
“Find a way to get up there.”
“I can’t-“
“Do this for (YN), please.”
I looked him in the eye and he took a deep breath before agreeing. I was glad, but I knew that if something happened to him, I’d owe him a lot. God, I always owed people something. Oh well, as long as (YN) was safe.
We arrived at the building and we had a full plan. Hopefully it would work, and if it didn’t, we were all going to die. The building was going down at 6:45, so we only had an hour otherwise we’d all be dead.
“Ready?” Twist asked.
I nodded and got out of the car. I headed inside first, leaving him behind. I showed the guards my ID and told them that I wanted to talk to (YN) one last time. They allowed me to and I headed up to the main guys office before going to see her. When I entered the room, past a steal door, she was standing and leaning against the wall, not even crying.
“(YN)?” I said quietly.
“Justin?”
She ran over to me and put her arms around me before moving her hands up through my hair and pressing her lips against mine. I wasn’t expecting it, but I willingly accepted it.
“What are you doing here?” She asked frantically.
“I’m here to say goodbye.” I winked.
I was hoping that she would catch on to my whole plan, but she didn’t. Sometimes, I didn’t understand how she didn’t understand the simplest things.
“Do you have something in your eye?” she asked as she sniffled.
“Yes… I have something in my eye.” I said exaggerating something and eye.
She made an ‘o’ with her mouth and mover her hand up to ‘help’ me. Now she got it, at least I thought so. Hopefully the cameras didn’t catch our little scheme, because he’s always watching.
I took (YN)’s hand and led her to the seats by the door. We sat down and I held her hand tight, waiting for Twist to walk in. That’s if our plan went as said.
After a few minutes, I heard the camera make a beeping sound and I knew that he’d be here any second. It was already 6:30 when I checked the time and I started getting worried. We might die, I thought. If Twist didn’t get his ass- just then the door opened and I saw his face. I’d never felt so relieved in my life to see him.
He motioned for us to come and I held out my hand to (YN). She took it and we headed down the hall. The cameras were disabled, but we still had ten floors of the building to get by.
“What the fuck, Twist? We only have 10 fucking minutes.” I whisper/yelled.
“Calm down, I got thi-“
“Hey! What are you-“
A guard stared at us from the other side of the hall. I looked at Twist and he looked at me. Obviously he had no idea what to do… Great, we were all going to die either way.
“Listen to me,” Twist said as he walked towards the guard, “I’m a part of this gang and this building is being bombed as we speak. We need to get out of here before-“
Before Twist could finish his sentence, (YN) let go of my hand and ran and kneed the guard in the crotch and he fell to the ground. Well I guess it was that simple, and it made me laugh a bit.
“We have 6 minutes, can we just get out of here?” she pleaded.
We all ran down the hall and to the stairs. The elevator would take too long either way. But when you hurt one guard, of course more come. We were practically down the stairs when the clock struck 6:44. I yanked on (YN)’s arm as we ran across the large lobby with Twist. It felt like one of those high speed action movies, but this time we were living it. My breath hitched in my throat as we ran out of the glass doors. We all jumped forward, you know, like in the movies. But we landed on the ground hard, and it didn’t feel good.
I groaned and looked back at the building. It was still intact. I looked over to Twist as we all stood up and pushed him.
“What the fuck? I thought you said 6:45!” I yelled.
“That’s what I heard.”
Before I could say more, a loud noise surrounded us and we all crouched down in fear. We were all pushed down to the ground by the force of the explosion. I looked up to see the whole building in smoke and flames. I shook a bit, knowing that we barely made it out. Just another minute and that would’ve been us.
